Ballet Long Island invites
public schools, private schools, and non-profit community groups to experience the beauty and magic of professional level
ballet at discount prices.
Ballet has a rich history - the first school of
ballet started in France under King Louis XIV in 1662. We want to share this tradition with our community. This program is
intended to help you introduce your students or groups to ballet, classical music, and non-verbal communication. Our teacher
guides offers some suggested enjoyable related activities to foster an interest in classical music, choreography and dance.
